Story Starter A3

The wind whistled through the trees beckoning me into the world beyond. But that was not to be. For I was to be on this ship until end of time. The Captain had banned me from touching solid earth because of my last endeavor to escape. He was a shrewd man, and because of the fact, there was to be no independence for my weary soul.

I tore my eyes from the land I so desired, and wandered around the deck. Soon I heard the Captain discoursing with the first mate.

“But will they know it was us, Cap’t? Is there any way they could find out?” The first mate whispered.

“Quit your petty fretting! There hasn’t been a man yet that has caught me! So stop whining.”

I had once before overheard a similar conversation, which was why I was bound to this accursed ship. I went over to the side of the ship that faced the sea. The very sea that I was forced to sail until the end of my days.

Suggestions:

- With a flashlight, you send Morse code to a lighthouse and they rescue you

-The ship gets fired at, and you go to jump overboard, but end up fighting a duel with the captain or first mate

-You stop their plan by short socketing their machinery, and sending S.O.S. to the police

-You sneak some written out plans, and stick them in a bottle and throw it overboard. Tell the story of how it was found

- Someone attempts to rescue you, but end up getting caught as well. So you escape with your new cellmate
