Story Starter D2
Evelyn quietly as she could, crept stealthily down the creaking stairs. Her bag clutched tightly under her arm, she reached the bottom with a suppressed sigh of relief. Silently, she stole out the front door. Blinking in the moonlight, she wondered where she would go. Evelyn knew that there was no turning back. She was an orphan, with no friends to assist her flight. But she was certain of one thing. Her parents would not have liked the place that her guardian was going to force her into. Clearing her head, she kept to the shadows, having only one thought: I must escape!
Suggestions:
-Her aunt was going to force her to become a nun or go to an atheistic school.
-Evelyn is caught soon after her escape, and still must go to the location her custodian demanded.
-Evelyn flees to another country, and struggles to learn the language and the culture.
-Evelyn runs and must get a job to support herself, perhaps having to act older then she really is.
