Zuburi clung to the dry stone wall, not daring to take a breath. The pyramid was like a giant brick oven, and the heat was intense. Zuburi knew that he was trapped, and he saw that his life hung on a slim thread. A heavy foot fall neared his hiding spot. He knew that the time had come.

Suggestions:

-Zuburi could be a prince that the people wanted to execute

-He could be a man wanted for theft from the palace, he could be guilty or innocent.

-The footfall could be that of a relative who wanted to force Zuburi to do something that he didn’t want to do
